Michele Renzini

Born in 1979, he studied at Facoltà di Architettura di Genova and at École Nazionale Supérieure d’Architecture of Grenoble in France, graduating with honours in architecture in 2006.
He begun his professional experience in 2000 with The Design Collaboratives, Virginia Beach, VA. Between 2001 and 2003 he worked with Cut Projects in Genoa, from 2005 to 2006 with Studio di Architettura Cortesi in Parma developing research projects on different scales, from landscape to architecture, graphics and design.
In 2006 he joined the newly born OBR, international firm based in Genoa, Milano and London, where he remained until 2014 being in charge of the research of the firm and main projects management.
He has been assistant professor at the University of Genoa and Siracusa and in 2006 his work has been exposed and published by the 10th Biennale di Architettura of Venice, in the international selection Città di Pietra.
In 2014 he found 2XL in Genoa.


Dario Cavallaro

Born in 1981 in Catania, he graduated with honours in Genoa in 2005, attending as postgraduate at A.A. School of Architecture in London. In 2007 he moved to UAE where he joined X-Architects in Dubai developing a great experience in extra-large scale projects.
In 2011 he joined OBR leading as Design Manager HOPE City masterplan in Accra, Ghana, where he spent last two years working on several projects, from residential to office and mixed-use program.
In parallel with his architectural practice, Dario has been professor at University of Genoa, developing his studies in parametric design.
He joined 2XL in 2014.
